There was a sparrow's nest on a tree in a forest. One day it was extremely cold. Shivering with cold, three or four monkeys took shelter under the same tree. One monkey said, "If we get fire to warm ourselves, the cold can go away."

The other monkey suggested, "Look, there are so many dry leaves lying here. Let us collect them and make a pile and then think of a way to light it."

The monkeys made a pile of dry leaves and then sat in a circle and started thinking about how to light the pile. Just then, one monkey's eyes fell on a firefly flying in the air and he jumped up. He started running towards it and shouted, "Look, a spark is flying in the air. If you catch it, place it under the pile and blow on it, the fire will light up."

Saying "Yes yes!", the other monkeys also started running towards it. The sparrow sitting in its nest on the tree was watching all this. She could not keep quiet. She said, "Monkey brothers, this is not a spark, it is a firefly."

A monkey growled angrily at the sparrow and said, “Stupid bird, stay quietly in your nest. are You trying to teach us.”

Meanwhile, a monkey jumped up and succeeded in trapping the firefly by making a bowl between his palms. The firefly was placed under the heap and all the monkeys started blowing on the heap from all sides.

The sparrow advised, “Brothers! You are making a mistake. The firefly will not light the fire. Light the fire by striking two stones and producing a spark from it.”

The monkeys glared at the sparrow. When the fire did not light, the sparrow spoke again, “Brothers! You take my advice, at least try rubbing two dry sticks together.”

All the monkeys were annoyed because they were unable to light the fire. A monkey, filled with anger, moved forward and caught the sparrow and hit it hard on the trunk of the tree. The sparrow fluttered and fell down and died.

Moral: 1. One should never give advice to anyone without being asked, especially not to a fool.

Moral: 2. There is no benefit in teaching or advising fools. On the contrary, the one who gives advice has to repent.
